Some projects are extra special because they’re born from friendship and fueled by dreams. That’s exactly what made my work with Golden Hour Barbecue so meaningful. When my friends decided to move to Alliance in 2023 to bring their barbecue vision to life, they asked me to design their logo, and I was honored to be a part of their incredible journey.

Knowing how deeply personal this dream was for them, I wanted to create a logo that felt timeless, warm, and uniquely them.

Taking it a step further, I also had the pleasure of hand-painting the logo as a mural inside their restaurant. It gives their space a welcoming, vibrant feel that they had envisioned for their customers.

Since opening, Golden Hour Barbecue has become a thriving business and a hub of community activity, filling the air with the smell of smoky barbecue and the warmth of great company. Seeing their dream come to life and knowing I played a small role in it has been beyond rewarding.

This project wasn’t just about design; it was about creating something meaningful for people I care about and seeing it bring joy to our community.
